Emergency Information for Lyman Briggs College

MSU Police/Fire/Ambulance Emergency Number: In case of an emergency, call 911.

MSU Police Non-Emergency Number: In case of a non-emergency situation requiring information or assistance from the campus police, call 517-355-2221.

Weather Emergency Essential Personnel: In case of weather emergencies, only the Dean Team (Elizabeth Simmons, Mark Largent, Rob LaDuca, and Philip Strong) and the Director of Academic Affairs (Jonelle Golding) are considered "essential personnel" for purposes of determining who must be on campus. All other faculty and staff members should check their email and for updates on emergency procedures as they apply to non-essential personnel.

MSU Alert: Faculty and staff members are encouraged to register to receive MSU ALERT Messages. Through this system, faculty and staff members can receive phone calls, e-mail messages, and/or text messages regarding local emergencies.
